This blog is just a quick tip for our RV friends who use diesel fuel. There is a trucking company called TSD Logistics. They buy their diesel in bulk and the more they buy, the lower their price. So they decided to include RVer’s. This means we can get diesel at a greatly reduced price.

When you sign up, TSD Logistics will send you a credit card from ESV and it is absolutely free. You can only use this credit card at select truck stops, in the truck (not automotive diesel) lanes. The discount can vary and typically ranges from $.16 to $.70. When we started with the card, we didn’t know what the current discount was. Now you can look it up on their app to see the current prices.

When you use the ESV card, the money for the fuel automatically comes out of your bank account the next day. So you don’t even pay for the fuel on the day you buy it.

If you use the ESV card from TSD Logistics don’t assume they have the best rates. Usually, they do so check on the TSD Open Roads app but also check on gas buddy.

For example, where I am right now the closest TSD participating truck stop is a Love’s 32 miles away. The price there with the TSD discount is $2.42. Less than a mile away from me is a Wal-Mart with a Murphy station and their price is $2.34.

So especially if you are not in a big rig or pulling a long trailer, make sure you shop around, you may find a better price.
