Miles
As you probably noticed I am way behind on this but the idea came to me in the middle of the night. Out of curiosity, I wanted to know all the miles we have traveled when on our exploration of the country. Of course, there were some breaks because of Covid and getting the house ready to sell/rent. In all, we have spent 12 months on the road in our 1 year and 7 months of retirement bliss. Sherry
Start of our RV retirement adventures
First night in Vinny
As you can see above, our first stop was a Cracker Barrel for breakfast since they welcome RV’ers and their lots are big enough for our rig. We then continued on to Arkansas. We spent longer than we wanted to drive but our main objective was to get far enough south so we did not have to worry about freezing weather. We ended up in a Walmart parking lot for the night. Most Walmart’s welcome RV’ers for overnight stays as long as you check in with them and make sure you park where they want you to in their lot. This particular Walmart was an after-hours, teenager hangout. There were a lot of cars revving their engines.

Did the rest of this update get cut off??
Hey, Teresa…No it is taking me a bit longer to post. Call it a lack of motivation.
