December 31, 2019 Day 3 Pulled out of Bass Pro Shop in Little Rock, Arkansas, and made our way to Canton, Texas. We planned to set up at the Flea Market there. We would be here for 5 days. Today’s Miles: 271 Miles to date: 756

December 30, 2019 Day 2 – Left our boondock stop at Walmart around 8:17 am and drove to Bass Pro Shops in Little Rock, Arkansas for another night of boondocking. A short day today because we were tired after the previous day’s driving We ate at David’s Burgers which was across the street, then did some wandering around the outlet mall. Today’s mileage: 145 Total mileage to date: 485

As you probably noticed I am way behind on this but the idea came to me in the middle of the night. Out of curiosity, I wanted to know all the miles we have traveled when on our exploration of the country. Of course, there were some breaks because of Covid and getting the house ready to sell/rent. In all, we have spent 12 months on the road in our 1 year and 7 months of retirement bliss. Sherry Start…
Let’s Eat – The Yard Milkshake Bar, Gulf Shores
Because of the size of the shake, Tim and I decided to share one. We got the cookie butter shake, it was a special for the month therefore it was not on their regular menu. This shake was cookie butter ice cream with Butterfinger pieces. Topped with a waffle, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate and Butterfinger pieces
Let’s Eat – Tacky Jacks – Gulf Shores
Tacky Jacks has three locations in the Gulf Shores area. It is located along the Intracostal Waterway. We ordered the Mexican Nachos.
Let’s Eat – Cobalt in Orange Beach
When in Orange Beach we visited Cobalt. This restaurant is on the bay side of orange beach and boaters are allowed to use their slips
Let’s Eat – The Shed at Ocean Springs, MS
The Shed was recommend to us as a place you must visit. The outside was deceiving of the goodness that awaits in side. the barbecue is wonderful.
Let’s Drink – Gulf Shores, Flora – Bama
During our visit in Gulf Shores we stopped in to Flora – Bama to try one of their famous Bushwackers.
Let’s Eat – Silver Slipper Casino
In Mississippi we stayed at the Silver Slipper Casino. With the members club card we were able to get a free buffet at the Jubilee Buffet.
Let’s Eat – Mandeville
We ate at Mandeville Seafood during our stay at Fontainebleau State Park in Louisiana.
