While we were in Gulf Shores, Alabama Tim and I visited The Yard Milkshake Bar. This establishment was featured on Shark Tank and after seeing the episode I decided we needed to go try one for ourselves. We were not disappointed. Because of the size of the shake, Tim and I decided to share one. We got the cookie butter shake, it was a special for the month therefore it was not on their regular menu. This shake was cookie butter ice cream with Butterfinger pieces. Topped with a waffle, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate and Butterfinger pieces.

They also have a build your own shake which offers 35 different flavors of ice cream, 37 toppings and 24 specialty toppings that include whole candy bars, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and cheesecake slices.

As of now, The Yard Milkshake Bar has six locations with two more to open this year. I definitely recommend this establishment. All shakes come in a mason jar that you get to take home. They even have a washtub so you can clean the jar before you take it home. A good idea considering how messy you and the jars are after all the deliciousness has been eaten.

I definitely plan on visiting again. There were too many choices and I want to try them all, it is a possibility that we could visit all of their other locations as we travel the country.
