We spent 2 nights boondocking at Bass Pro Shops in Denham Springs, Louisiana. It’s a beautiful Bass Pro Shops and all the people working there were very nice. They have a nice lake between highway 12 and the Bass Pro Shops that they test boat motors in.

Unfortunately, they only let employees fish there, but I did spot one huge bass on a nest. I talked to one of the employees who was familiar with that bass. She has seen every lure that Bass Pro Shops sells and caught very few times. She will only eat bread or corn that people throw to her. She weighs over 10 lbs.

As it turns out, It would have been a lot cheaper for us to stay at a premier campground as I spent so much in the store. But at least I have some new lures and fishing gear, and a new life jacket for my new Kayak.
